Our Human First Experience 

A Future Fest is two days of practical workshops, thought-provoking business debates, inspiring keynotes and new friendships with small business owners across different industries.

A human-first agenda to raise the standard in areas like customer & client experience, team development, and living your life outside of the business. So that you and your business can outlast the hard seasons of small business ownership.

Around 50% of businesses fail within five years. Our vision is to reduce that number dramatically by 2033.

Mainstage | Jesse Itzler

A successful serial entrepreneur, Jesse’s mission is to continually raise the bar and build his LIFE RESUME. And with a passion for endurance challenges, he completed Ultraman in 2022 at the age of 53, which entails a 6.2 mile open water swim, 261.4 mile bike, and 52.4 mile run, the same year he sold his endurance hiking company, 29029 Everesting, to iFit. These things are not uncommon for Jesse, who also completed a 100 mile running race, sold Marquis Jet to Warren Buffett in 2010, and partnered with Zico Coconut Water which sold to Coca-Cola in 2013.

At the end of the day, his proudest accomplishment is his family—with 3 sons and a daughter, he and his wife, Sara Blakely (founder of SPANX), definitely have their hands full!

Message from our founder

It’s crazy to start a business. It’s even crazier to start one from scratch. You're in good company if you don’t want to stick to the status quo. When you get a bunch of us owners together the crazy thing is what once was thought impossible becomes a reality.

You may have never thought you’d love running a commercial & residential painting business for over a decade. You couldn’t have imagined after taking a trip to Italy you’d start your own travel agency to give other U.S. travelers the opportunity to experience the cultures of other countries. After you watched a youtube video you didn’t think you’d be running your own small regenerative family farm for the last 5 years.

Despite the hard seasons, chaotic experiences, and sleepless nights, you keep going into the unknown. This is the American spirit that we are preserving and growing through this event. Two days for you to learn and connect with other small business owners reshaping the future of small business in our country.
